The translator, Gita Krishnankutty, I guess, has tried to do complete justice to the original and has almost succeeded. Yudhishtira is shown in a completely different light and to an extent, so is Draupadi. I guess this is what makes it a unique read, compared to the other versions of Mahabharatha. While reading I was Bhima, I was feeling all the emotions he went through, the feeling of rejection, avoidance and I was travelling around all the place he went, through Hastinapura, Indraprastha, the forest, the battle field of Kurukshetra Mt sir has narrated the novel through the perspective of Bheeman and which has been a fresh experience for the readers because we all might have read books of Mahabaratha through Karna.
